Title: Where the Water Meets the Mountains

Throughout BC there are so many gorgeous mountain ranges, lakes, rivers and inlets. One of my favourite views has always been at the water and taking in how the mountains run straight into the water, with the clouds swirling around and the sun coming up above the peaks. This could be in the Kootenays, the Rockies, the Sea to Sky corridor, or one of the many other beautiful places we have here in BC.

This original was inspired by a commission I recently completed that was all about celebrating BC. I couldn’t seem to get it out of my head and loved the meaning. It makes me want to travel, which is hard right now, to revisit some of these places and find new ones. Until then, I’ll keep painting them.

This original is created on 1.5” thick canvas with the edges painted giving it a clean, finished look when hanging on the wall. Framing is optional as this painting is wire mounted and ready to hang.
