When I started sketching this painting out I really thought about all of the things I loved about Kelowna as you drive down the hill and out of West Kelowna. Starting with Mission Hill winery on the left and the rolling vineyards of Quails Gate Winery. Crossing the bridge brings us to downtown Kelowna with The Bear, The Sails, and Knox Mountain. There’s the Gyro Beach Apple, Mission Creek and the Summerhill Pyramid and in front of the rising sun are the peaks of Big White Mountain.

This original is created on 1.5” thick canvas with the edges painted giving it a clean, finished look when hanging on the wall. Framing is optional as this painting is wire mounted and ready to hang.
